Thought I'd see what might happen if I punched gumpaste with a paper punch. It worked. This will be fun...more trips to Michael's!

Fabulous! I have wanted to try this - have bought one border punch and several individual motifs - kinda like the Sugarveil techniques shown on their decoredibles. I had planned to roll the gumpaste fairly thinly and let dry a bit before punching - is this what you did? Your samples are beautiful. Yep, more trips to Michaels and AC Moore icon_lol.gif

Excellent, the varieties of designs are endless with paper punches. Very pretty.

Yep, I used a pasta/clay machine (hand grinder) that I got a Michaels. Started at the biggest number and got down to #2. I saw it done with Sugarveil also but don't have my kitchen stuff to mix anything at the moment. So...just used some Satin Ice gumpaste.
