Hello Everyone,
How much batter do I need for a sheet pan 11x16 by 2inches high, this is my first time using a sheet pan and my recipes usually call for 6-7 cups of batter at a time, and that is for 8-9 inch round cake.

I use two doctored mixes for my 11 x 15. It rises to the top of the two inch pan perfectly. I bake it at 325 until done -- tried at 350 and the outsides got too done -- also put a flower nail or heating core in the middle for a good bake.

Good luck.

Hope you don't mind the interuption on your thread, but was curious as to the doctored mix recipe. I mean I haven't been able to find it, the one with adding pudding. Thanks

I've never seen an 11x16 pan. But an 11x15 takes about 10 cups of batter.
