Help. How Soon Can I Apply???

I have a cake that I need to give to a customer tonight for a party tomorrow afternoon. I made gum paste curly q things to put on top of this cake and I was wondering if I can put them on tonight and they will be ok and hold up for the party tomorrow afternoon?? Any help or suggestions I would really appreciate it!!

If the are completely dry they will hold.

I would suggest not refrigerating the cake with the gumpaste on it, or if you do, at least don't box it up or cover it.
