Help--Trying To Edit My Photo--New Photo Not Showing Up

I'm wondering if someone can tell me what I"m doing wrong. I am trying to edit one of the photos I have posted by putting a new photo in its place. I chose the edit photo option under the photo I wanted to change, clicked on browse, put in the location of the new photo, and when I click on the "apply modification" button my new photo comes up as a box with a red x in it. When it first happened I thought that maybe the new photo was too large and went back and "shrunk" it. It is still happening though and I don't know how to get the photo to show up.

I'm so sorry---never mind------I got it to work. I did not realize that it takes a while for the new photo to show up. I went back into my photos and the new photo is there now. It took about 20-30 minutes for it to show up.
