Well, I hit them two times. First time I spent $68.00 which should have been $170.00. I had some items that I purchased last Friday that they gave me a credit of 50% on since they were Wilton. Yesterday I hit again and spent $140.00 which should have been $280.00. Did pretty good!

I'm jealous! icon_razz.gif

I think I win for spending the least, finally went today and spent $13.02, my store has a very tiny wilton section and I really only had the money to buy essentials for an upcoming cake anyway. Bought parchment triangles, 2 tips, horse shoe pan and a coupler.

I finally got there today - spent $60, should have been $120. I got two giant bags full of stuff! Now I don't know where to put it all.

Hey Ksue ~ we tied icon_lol.gif . I'm a procrastinator thumbsdown.gif and so I went today. They still had a fairly good selection but it certainly had been picked over.

i'm not exactly sure how much i spent, i think i went there everyday this week! it just doesn't seem as bad to go and spend 30.00 or so at a time. i also hit michaels and bought a pan there since they honor hobby lobby coupons and hobby lobby didn't have that pan(my hobby lobby and michaels are literally right next door to each other, i walk from one to the other, can you believe that). gave one lady a coupon that didn't have one, she was buying a set of cake pans and a bunch of stuff to make her moma 70th bday cake. so i probably saved her about 40.00 (i always carry 2 or more of their coupons at a time) anyway, i know i spent 50.00, then about 25.00, then about 20.00, then 13.00 then about 7.00 at michaels

Hey smashcakes ~ thanks for the info. I didn't know that Michael's honored Hobby Lobby coupons. We just got a Michael's last year and it's about 3/4 mile from Hobby Lobby. That was so sweet of you to share one of your coupons.

I have never heard of ACMoore. For those of you who have one, check to see if they honor Hobby Lobby coupons. If they do you could sign up for their ad over the internet and get the coupons there. icon_wink.gif

I went to Micheal's on Friday with my HL 50% off Wilton stuff coupon, and they wouldn't honor it...why?? The cashier told me that they only honor the coupons for like one item or something like that. Is this true?

I printed out several of the HobbyLobby coupons and took with me to the local Michael's store. They refused to honor it because it was an online coupon and not one they put in the paper. Stupid. I thought they would at least like SOME of my money instead of none, but I guess I was wrong. Jumped in the car and went to HL instead, and ran into a girl from my Wilton class, so I gave her a coupon. I purchased $214.38 worth of stuff, so it would have been $428.76? I'm not sure what my friend purchased cause she was still there when I left.

Where am I gonna put all this stuff????????? Anyone know where I can get a storage shed for cheap?

I thought for sure I was gonna "take the cake" on this competition, but it looks like I've been beat. I "only" spent $225. icon_biggrin.gif I had to rearrange things in my garage to make a nice little cake supply storage area right outside the door to my kitchen.

chenson4 ~ you might want to call the manager and as him/her about it. Most of the internet coupons from HL are 40% off any one item. This particular coupon doesn't come out regularly like the 40% off anything. It is for 50% off any Wilton product. Maybe the sales clerk is misinformed OR maybe that's is there store's policy. It wouldn't hurt to check with the manager though. Then the next time the coupon comes out you'll know what you can and can't do with it.

I went twice. The first time I spent $29 and the second time I spent $40, so the total should have been $138. I'm really upset though cause on my second trip, I bought the new 3 Tier Party Stand and I was really excited to use it for a party I had yesterday. I took it out of the box for the first time yesterday and someone had taken the legs for it!!! icon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gif Now I have to go back and exchange it!

I am just getting into this "cake thing". I've gotten most of my pans from Ebay, but I still managed to spend just under $300.00 on cake boards, spray color, books, disposable bags, and icing coloring. icon_redface.gif

On the subject of Micheal's; I called before I went and was told very firmly that it was not a printed in-newpaper ad so it would not be honored. I was disappointed because I feel the Micheal's store has a better selection. As fourangelmommy said guess they didn't want "some" of my money. icon_surprised.gif

I also printed extra copies of the coupon to give to people I met that didn't know or didn't have a coupon. It's fun to surprise people with something nice!!! icon_razz.gif

I spent $145.00 which would have been $290.00. When I got ready to check out my basket full of items, the cashier asked me which item I wanted to use the coupon on. O.k. I had about 50 things in my basket so I explained to her that the coupon was 50% off Wilton Products and not their normal 40 or 50% off one item. She thought I was crazy so I spoke to the assistant manager who told me I was wrong and finally I asked that the manager come to the front of the store. Well she disagreed with me as well until she called another hl store and was told by its manager that they were giving 50% off all Wilton. She apologized and I left the store with a bunch of bags and a huge smile.

I feel your pain Bush1 I also got asked by the cashier "which item I wanted to use my coupon on" After I explained to her it was for all of them she called the manager but then cancelled the manager and just gave me 50% off everthing. I think I spent $121 so it should have been $242 - but boy some of you got me way beat!!!

It sure was fun to shop for half off though!!! thumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gif

I spent $59.00 at the first HL I went to, $67.00 the second day at another store, and $28.00 the third day at a Michaels. So, a total of $154 spent for $308 worth of goodies. I didn't have any problem using my HL coupon at Michaels (one coupon for all items). I'd like to thank whoever posted the information about the coupon last week !!! I can't remember who it was but I never would have known about it had you not mentioned it. I just recently started this fun adventure and really needed alot of things, so this was great !!! Thanks again. This is a great site. thumbs_up.gif
