Never tried these, but want to do them in advance for a cake needed on Spet 17.

Where do I store them?(feezer, cupboard, fridge?

When making them, do I do the flowers on parchment or wax paper or foil? Which is best?

Thanks sooo much! I am new at this and though I have ideas--I need some tips so I don't have a fiasco!

I heard it is a NO NO for royal icing to be frozen. I think you would just keep them in an air tight container, on waxed paper.

Yup Diz is right. Wax paper and a container just on the counter.

Anything that is all sugar like royal icing or fondant should not even go near a freezer. It has no dairy product or something that can spoil. It does not need refrigeration either.

It's best that it stays at room temp. until it dries totally. If it's colored, don't put it under direct sunlight or bright flourescent light..it will fade. icon_smile.gif
