Is "icing sugar" the same as powdered suagr? I have a recipe that calls for icing sugar, but I just need 1/4c and don't want to have to shop around town for it if it is a speciality thing.

Yes... I believe so... that's what I'd use.

I think icing sugar is a UK thing. Some of my book say icing/ confectioners sugar. Does that help?
