Does anyone have any tips for piping roses (or other flowers requiring the flower nail) with SMBC?
Any time I try to do them the centre cone slides right off the wax paper as soon as I touch the tip to it to make the first petal. Does it work better without wax paper?

SMBC is Swiss Meringue Buttercream. Don't know about the roses I'm not good at them and have never tried SMBC

Try keeping the icing cold in the fridge.I find that with the Whimisical Bakehouse Icing I use I have to keep the icing cold and the roses will form and hold better.
