Here is a website that I found that explains some of the claim to fame for Canadian provinces.

I'm Canadian-from Toronto living in Boston so I'm trying to figure out something special to do for Canada Day on July 1st myself!

Nova Scotia I would say Tartan, bagpipes, the Blue Nose
PEI - Beaches, Anne of Green Gables
New Brunswick - covered bridges, the Bay of Fundy
Newfoundland - Fisherman, lighthouses, Moose
BC and Alberta - The Rockies
Saskatchewan - Wheat, the Prairies
Ontario - CN Tower... not really sure what else. AS for the others, not really sure what would jump out as their claim to fame.

Good luck!

How about a map of Canada with just the capitol cities marked? You could make the provinces different colors, like in an atlas. Or do each province colored like their flags. Good luck.
