That I think is what I've done.....I'll try my best to explain:
Downloaded and saved to desktop, extracted file, went to control panel, clicked on fonts, under File clicked on install a new font (this is the part that's tricky), a window pops up that says "Add Fonts" then it has a "list of fonts" with nothing listed on the right hand side it has OK, Close, Select All (which isn't highlighted) then Network that has a green border around it. On the left side of the "network" button it has Folders: c:\\windows and then a list of different folders and none say desktop or anything near what I'm looking for. Beside that is has a column for Drives and has listed a, d, c, and e. Confused yet? So, naturally I hit the network button (after all it does have the green highlighted around it) and it says: Windows can help you connect to a shared network folder and assign a drive letter to the connection so that you can access the folder using My Computer. It goes on to say:
Specify the drive letter for the connection and the folder you want to connect to: then it has a drop down menu for the drive letters which range from z-b and then the folder: (I've been typing the address in {C:\\Documents and Settings\\Tammy\\Desktop}but it is not working! says it cannot locate that file!!!!)
I don't know if any of this makes sense at all to you but I sure hope you can help! NO pressure LOL!
Thanks so much!
Tammy
I just have to tell you that I finally got the Disney font on my computer! (It only took 2 days of trying!) I copied it and pasted to the fonts under the control panel. Seems strange to me but it worked and I am so happy!
Just thought I might share.....I know, I'm a geek!! ![]()
