So our first honeymoon back in March was spent with me working at a tradeshow booth in FL. My company was so good about it, paid his way, sent us flowers the works, but I wanted to give him a real honeymoon. So we are heading to San Francisco in two weeks, and we will be there over his birthday.

How do I get a cake for him? I cant imagine having a birthday without a cake. I know we will celebrate with family and friends when we get back, but it just doesn't feel right that he wont have on his birthday.

So any here ever taken on one a plane? For me this is over a 3 hour plane ride, so that may not be a good thing.

Anyone make cakes in the Emeryville area where we are staying? We will actually be at the All-Star game on his birthday, but would love to have a cake for waiting for him when we get back. Nothing big, just for the two of us..

i made a small 1st anniversary cake for my SIL a few years ago and her hubby at the time was in Tonga so she took the cake with her from NZ to tonga. Quite often i have heard that if the stewardess knows they are quite happy to put your cake in the kitchen part or food prep area but ring your airline to find out. good luck hope you have a good time icon_surprised.gif)

Thanks Ariginal! I didnt even think of that. Maybe even a little 6" or something would work for us. That is a great idea.

I hope we have fun too. I have been warned that no computer icon_cry.gif while on vacation, what will I do about my addiction to CC? icon_biggrin.gif

lchristi27, I know what you are thinking....I went to Mexico in April and didn't think I would survive 10 days w/o my cc. You will make it, I promise.....Have fun and Happy Honeymoon part 2!

Or for a stress-free vacation, order a cake from ShirleyW who is from the Bay area icon_lol.gif That way you can have your cake and a little dose of CC icon_biggrin.gif

icon_eek.gif Maybe this is NOT a honeymoon, but an intervention! icon_eek.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif How about doing a few cupcakes or even birthday cookies? icon_smile.gif

LOL! I think it might be an intervention, he is sneaky that way. Kissed me goodbye yesterday morning and called me an addict.

Cookies might be a great way to go too, and I think I have to find Shirley W. He always makes my birthday's so special, I want to make his just as special as well..

Well if that's the case... forget the cake and/or cookies and get yourself over to Victoria's Secret! icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif
