O.k. It is down to the wire and I need a little last minute advice on my first wedding cake!!
1. Is lemon curd ( store bought) gonna be ok I cant refrigerate because of fondant???
2. Do I really need to cover my cardboard cake circles???

Don't know about lemon curd. Your cake circles for a stacked cake do not need covering. Use the size that exactly corresponds with your layer size. Your border will cover any small edge of cardboard that might be peeking out. I adjust the border tip size to accomodate what I need to cover up! Same thing if you're using pillars and plates............. Your BASE needs covering if it will be larger than the bottom cake. Also needs to be thick and sturdy enough to support the base cake when transporting!

Check the packaging the lemon curd comes in. It should tell you if it must be refrigerated after opening or not.
