This is my first time attempting any flower, does anyone have any tips?

I think my fondant may have been to thick, the flower felt heavy and clumpy.

Any help will be appreciated.

Sorry, I don't know how to resize it, if anyone can help with that also I would like that too.

Also the flowers are in my pictures on the red hat, if you don't mind looking.

I am sorry for all of the trouble, I am a computer dummy. icon_redface.gif

I think for your first time your flowers look great! I would suggest rolling your pedels much thinner. Keep in mind your trying to make them look realistic so they should be pretty thin. In using gumpate and fondant for flowers if you think its thin enough roll it out more.
Good luck!

I agree, take a little more time and roll out thinner. Rose petals are delicate and smooth. For your first time you did fine.
