My Canon PIXMA iP6000D is not centering the images on my frosting sheets.

Any ideas?

Are all your measurements right for the size of the sheet?

Might just need a print head alignment. How far off is it?

Also, what program are you using. I know the free software from Kopykakes has an option for borderless printing to use if you are removing the backing from the frosting sheet before printing. I wasted a few sheets before figuring that out.

You can use regular paper when testing your settings. Printing at draft quality with test pages also helps save on ink thumbs_up.gif

OK you guys....I just recieved my edible image printer set-up today. I'm just a home decorator, but plan to sell images to the decorators in my area as nobody has a printer around here.

How often do you have to print to keep the print head "happy".....? And the nozzles un-plugged...

It depends. Some people complain of clogs after just one week without using their printer. I've been able to go as long as two months. It's probably a good idea to print a small maintenance image on regular paper at least once weekly or every two weeks.
