I was wondering where there is a good place to have the edible images made. I took a picture to Wal Mart but they told me they couldn't do it because of copy writing laws. I wanted to do a 49th anniversary cake for my parents with their wedding picture. They didn't have any snapshots in their photo album. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks Ruth

are you trying to get an edible image of your parents wedding photo? You can try any of the grocery stores, walmart here does it and alot of the others. I believe though that professional photos only have a 25yr copyright on them, or at least that is what i was told, so if its older then 25yrs you should be ok.

Walmart out here isn't real cooperative when it comes to printing professional photos, however I would check the other grocery stores in your area, out here they charge 8 bucks for an image. You may also ask around in this forum and there might be someone close to you that has a printer and could do it for you.

I just did my first edible image cake last week for a family reunion.

I live near Sugarcraft, so I went there with my picture on a disc and had them print the image, but if you can't find anyplace local, you can order online from them at www.sugarcraft.com .

The cost of the image is $7.00, not sure how much the shipping charge would be since mine wasn't shipped.

Laura.
