Does anyone have or have tried the Total gym. I am interested in buying one and I have done a lot of searching on the net for reviews and so far from what I have found everyone has really liked it. Before I take the plunge and buy one I figured I'd ask all my friends on CC! Thanks in advance!

My husband bought the one at the store, we didn't like it.

We bought one for $10 practically brand new at a local thrift store several years ago. DH loves it - when he actually uses it. I prefer different types of exercises, so I've never actually used it myself.

I don't have any experience with the Total Gym or any gym to be exact!

However, I do have the Gazelle, from Tony Little (you know the guy who has prettier hair than any of us icon_eek.gif ).

It has been great! Not only does it keep my clothes off the floor, but if I lay them just right, they don't even get wrinkled! icon_lol.gif I wouldn't want to live without it!

I was contacted by a Toatal Gym rep a few years ago (sales call). After I told them I wasn't sure a few times, they cut the price almost in 1/2. If you buy one, talk to them first and try to negotiate the price.

I didn't feel it was what it was supposed to be. That's justr me. My sister loved hers. Of course I'm soo what my kids call either ADHD & OCD. I tried it for 6 months before I gave mine away.
