So I tried using my whisk attachment instead of the regular one, to beat my cake mix.....I have no idea why, but I did it.....well I'm using a recipe that I've used a million times, (okay 6 times), and my cakes are flat. Did I over-beat the mix? Is that even possible? They look a little 'pancake-y'!! What the heck happened?! My cakes are always nice & high!! AAaaaah!! ![]()
Yes, anytime you overbeat that can happen. You can overmix with the paddle too if you aren't careful, I finally figured out why one of my cakes fell in the middle. I remember getting distracted with the kids and overmixing.
