Mmf Flip Flop Straps

So I made the straps for my soon to be flip flop cake out of MMF last night. I have to put them on the cake on Thursday night. They are around 1/8 inch thick.

Anyone think I will have a problem with them drying?

Depends on how humid it is. I like to use gumpaste for flip flop straps.
