Hello,
I'm doing a My Little Pony cake next week. I did a practice with the fbct and it turned out ok. But, I thought if would be even cuter with some little fondant hearts and flowers as accents. I haven't worked with fondant very much. So, should I make these flowers up ahead of time. And do I have to worry about them falling off the sides of the cake? Thanks for your help!

You can make ahead of time. When ready to put on cake dab a little frosting for it stick. I will making flowers this weekend that I need in two weeks. Never had a problem.

good luck

I would make them ahead of time just so you don't have to rush around to get it all done, the more you can do ahead of time the better (IMO)

Definitely make the flowers ahead of time. They'll need to dry a bit so they are not too soft when you place them on the cake. Use a dab of buttercream icing to attach them.

Yea! Thank you everyone. I love doing whatever I can ahead of time so I don't get in a rush.
