Hello and welcome to CC:
I use the Pillsbury cake mixes all the time and use the enhanced cake formula on this website. Their mixes are generally quite moist, but with the added ingredients, it also stabilizes the texture of the cakes, and they are perfect for decorating and very stable for tiers. I know alot of people use either DH or BC also..........I have used them in the past, but not for tiered cakes.

I've never had a problem stacking cakes, sculpting, etc. using many varieties of Duncan Hines cake mixes, enhanced or not.
