I am going to be making a cake for about 150 ppl. I want it too look a lot like this. (Thanks Crystaline...this is awesome!)

Questions:
What size pans would I use to be able to serve this many people? Is there a chart I can review to find this info?

Any ideas for making edible numbers?

an 8, 12, 16 round should be enough for you. there are LOTS of serving charts. earlene moore has one on her website, i use one i got off of CC that uses indydebi's cutting method. i'll post it for you. and which numbers are you wanting edible? the topper?

i would make a topper with RI. print a big 80, cover the paper with parchment paper, and trace the RI over the numbers. do several coats. when it dries peal it off, paint with luster dust, and attach to a popsicle stick to push down into the cake. wilton.com has a tutorial on making toppers.

oh, and just another thought. its important to peal the paper off the icing, not the icing off the paper. it is likely to break if you try to peal it up. slide the topper to the edge of a table, and gently pull the paper "down". this is a tip i picked up on CC.
