A few weeks ago I needed a strawberry frosting and didn't want to run out to the store; puree the strawberries, etc...
So I simply made the buttercream dream recipe and added a small jar of strawberry preserves. It was the best strawberry icing I ever made, smelled delicious, and the simplest. I did not cut back on any of the buttercream dream ingredients.

I just made one Sunday ~ used the regular Buttercream recipe and added 3/4 cup Seedless Strawberry Preserves.
