I am normally a box mix only user. I was going to try the exender recipe today and see how I like it. I know the instruction say to do the box mix as usual and then add the other ingredients but then what? DO I add all the extender ingredients at one time and mix for a certain time or add them all gradually, etc? Don't want to over-mix or undermix and waste a cake 
Can those of you who use this recipe/concept give me any tips prior to me trying it out!

I have used this recipe twice now, and I just threw everything in together and mixed! The cakes were gorgeous - I'm going to stick with this recipe!!
