From the stuff I've seen on the KitchenAid site and Macy's...I think it's a year.

I don't know....I do know you get a year but there was just a thread this past week and one of our members got a free replacement after TWO YEARS!!
Call their customer service and give it a try!! Good luck!!!

It is only a one year warranty... mine is four years old and just started to have problems last week. icon_sad.gif I called KitchenAid and they said I could take it to one of their "authorized service" places for repair - the closest one is an hour and a half away!

I bought a 6 quart in 2000, about one and a half years later I kept hearing a strange noice from the mixer. I called KA and the tech got on the phone and had me turn the mixer on so he could hear it. They told me that they would send me a replacement for nothing. I sent the old one back in the shipping box that they sent the new one in. I paid nothing, not even the shipping! I am very pleased with how they handled my problem. I have been using the dog out of this mixer, and so far it has been a jewel. If the warranty was a year then mine was an exception, maybe because it was a 6 quart, or maybe what he heard was not the norm for problems.

I just looked on my box and it didn't mention how long the warranty was for. It just says, "hassle free replacement". Sounds like they live up to their claim. That's good to know!

I would look on my papers that came with it but it would take an eternity to find them icon_lol.gif .

IMO if you have problems with a KA, it wasn't right to begin with and they'll know it! I have my Mom's old one and haven't had a single problem-it's OLD!! I make double batches of BC, french bread, MMF-NO PROBLEM! You shouldn't have any problems for years.
