I signed up for the class 1 at my local hobby lobby (30 miles away) and went to the first night of class. well first off I was very disappointed! The only thing she said she was going to go over in this class that I felt like I needed was the roses. Well, then I got the chicken pox and haven't got to go back to class yet. Well tonight is the last night of class and I'm still not feeling well! My question is should I sign up and take this class again or just see if i can find someone who can teach me to do roses? TIA

I would talk to the store, explain why you weren't able to attend the class and see if you can attend the next run of classes. I would say attending the classes would be the cheapest way to learn the roses, cause to have a private lesson it would run you more money then the classes.

Anytime i take a class weather i already know the material i learn something, some hint that just makes it worth it.

I took Wilton classes here at two different stores. Both instructors were more than happy to work with students who encountered problems by allowing them to attend the missed classes the next time they teach that particular class, so do talk to the instructor. Like Peg818, I have found that I can learn something from everyone - a different twist on a skill or technique, or even what *not* to do icon_lol.gif .

Alot of instructors understand that things happen in life and people get sick or have to miss class for other reason. Talk to the instructor. If you have paid for the class but were not able to finish it you have a right to make up the missed classes, with in reason.

If you are interested in finishing, contact the instructor and explain to her that you were sick and were not able to finish the classes. If a student misses one of my classes I allow them to come in on the lesson(s) they missed the next time I am offering that class.

You shouldn't have to pay again to finish the classes you have already paid for.
