will that come out swirl or jsut a lighter brown? Sorry if this seems like a stupid question.
Well if you mixing it into the batter while your beating all the ingredients together then no it will not swirl and would probably just make the batter a little beige color.
I make a cake with white mix and chocolate pudding and it comes out light brown.
