I just read it after being attracted to the picture at the top of My Account.
Now I know how and when Cake Central started. I'm sure all CCers are as grateful as I am for this wonderful website.
Jackie and Heath, you make a very handsome couple. Thanks for everything!

Jackie and Heath I too thank you from the bottom of my heart. I dont personally know anyone that is sooo interested in baking as I am so I was thrilled when I found this site. Thank you for the short history as I always wondered how it started and like anyone else I meet on line I'm always curious what people look like or how old they are lol I just love this place and all the members on here are Fantastic !!!!!!

Thanks for sharing the story with us! What a perfect person to set up something like this. I don't think there are too many computer programmers out there that decorate cakes thumbs_up.gif Some of us might have tried someday to set something like this and would have failed miserable due to not knowing enough about the computer/web stuff icon_redface.gif

I was just going to post a comment about the CC Story then I saw this. I also wanted to say thank you to Jackie and Heath! I appreciate the wealth of knowlege and the willingness to share it. I love having the inspiration from soo many talented people. The words of encouragement and support when you get frustrated or down. The resounding cheers when you accomplish something, big or small. And most of all feeling part of a family that share your love of cake. After I read the CC story I felt even more a part of this wonderful community. So THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just wanted to say "thanks so much" for starting CC and being unselfish with your time to keep it going and keeping it fresh. You two are awesome. I have learned so much from this site and there is not a day that goes by that I don't learn something.

i also am so very grateful for this site. It has taken me out of what i like to call "Wilton World". I am also grateful for all the cake geniuses that make this happen and are so sharing with their many years of experience.
