I need a great filling for a chocolate cake please. I would like some sort of cream that's not chocolate. I looked on site and don't see any recipes with many stars. I would like something you have used that is really good. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks so much! icon_smile.gif

I like the cookies and cream that is in the recipe section. It does have chocolate cookies/oreos in the filling, but it is soooo good. Good luck.

I have a chocolate groom's cake to do for next weekend, and I'm making regular buttercream, but in place of the milk I'm using white chocolate raspberry coffee creamer. It tastes wonderful together.

You could always do an oreo filling, either mixed with butterceam or whipped topping, or I love to do coconut buttercream with chocolate.

All of those sound good. One is a surprise cake for a doctors birthday. I want something pretty special. We are going in blind. No one knows if she likes chocolate or not or anything else for that matter. Most people do like chocoate so I thought I would use chocolate cake and chocolate fondant but want to torte it with a cream filling.
Thanks for the help,
Betty

You know, there is a rich creme filling in the recipe section, and rasberries and chocolate are a great combo! That is an awesome filling, wether or not you use it for this cake or not!! icon_biggrin.gif

I like the sound of the rasberries and chocolate. I'm going to look for that one. Thanks so much!
