Hi everyone!

I'm very new to this site and I had a question...

I'm sure that somewhere here there's ideas for cupcakes (I already saw the cupcake boquet) but wnated something creative for a boy's birthday party.
The theme is Spiderman and I have to do their cake coming up in July.

Any ideas on what to do with the cupcakes- as far as laying them on a tray, etc?

Please, please, please help!

Thanks so much!!

You could do a cupcake cake, in the shape of spiderman's head or head and torso.

Just arrange the cupcakes into the shape and decorate like you would any cake.

That's the first thing I thought of...but she doesn't want that.
She wants a small cake for 12 people with the Spiderman theme..and then 50 Spiderman cupcakes....

Maybe you could lay pieces of black shoestring licorace on a tray in the shape of a spiderweb. Then place decorated cupcakes on top of them?
Or use spiderman wrapping paper to line the tray.

As for the cupcakes themselves, you can make them with spiders on them (like the one on spiderman's costume) and use different background colors (red, white, and blue are spiderman colors).
Or just buy the edible spiderman sugar decorations and place one on each.
You can get spiderman cupcake liners also.

50 is ALOT of cupcakes, so I would keep it simple!

No I haven't seen the gallery...

I like the idea of the black licorace on the board..that's really cute!
I'll tell that to the mother and see if she likes it.

Thank you all for your help!! icon_biggrin.gif
