Satisfy my curiosity...how many weddings cake are we responsible for doing today? I thought it would be interesting to compare a "normal" Saturday against the upcoming wedding date of the year, July 7th.

yesturday I had 4 occassion cakes one of them teapot and cups/ today 200 wedding cupcakes with buttercream roses and a 6" top cake, tomorrow I have 3 tier wedding cake. I was up till 1 am last night.
July 7th 5 wedding cakes and 8th 2 wedding cakes thank goodness my daughter can decorate couldn't do it without her but she also has a full time job and 2 kids.
I had two wedding cakes, an order for slabs (300 servings) for the graduation ceremony at the local public school, and a birthday cake.
I delivered my two wedding cakes yesterday, came home to a glass of wine! My hubby is great! 
The weekend of 7/7/07 I will only have 2 weddings - I haven't taken on any other orders yet - piece of cake!

I had one wedding cake plus grooms cake and two regular orders on Thursday and Friday. My next wedding cake is July 7th...
Nothing today (Sunday), but had 4 consults yesterday; a wedding this Tuesday.
July 7 is my son's birthday, and I turned away all requests for that day (3 so far).
No paid cakes since I'm not a "business" for cakes yet. LOL
But I made a baby shower cake for a friend's shower. 
Last weekend was the first weekend ALL YEAR that I didn't have a wedding cake, most weekends two or three ( including grooms cakes). 7-7-7 I have three weddings that weekend.
I had 3 weddings (and I attended one of them!) this past Saturday (6/23), plus other cakes. I have 6 wedding cakes on 7/7/07!!! 
One cake for me and 20 dozen cookies - slow week 
Last weekend Sugar Bean Cakes made 3 cakes (2 people doing the work). This upcoming weekend SBC has 3 cakes, and 2 celebration cakes. (1 person doing the work).
I will book 3-4 weddings a weekend. Plus some celebration cakes etc.
However, really weird I only have one cake for 7/7/7 and it was my ONLY inquiry. Now August??? Thats INSANE!!! for me.

I have one wedding plus grooms cake for this Saturday 6/30, one wedding on 7/7/07 and one with grooms cake on 7/8/07.
I have 3 other celebrations cakes due as well, 2 due this Friday and 1 next Friday. All of this and trying to get my store front opened on August 1st. I'm with Sugarbean, my August is crazy!!!
