I have been just buying the colors from wilton but was wondering what kind of coloring everybody uses for their icing?? I bought a different brand from the cake lady supply here because she does not carry wilton but the red had a TERRIBLE taste. I really do like wiltons no taste red. Any other brands that are great??

Americolor is really good. None of the colors I've tried have that ucky after taste too. You can order it off of this site.

I love Americolors especially the red and black. It's so much easier to achieve the desired color.

I went to the shop and typed in americolors, are they the gel colors???

I used to use Wilton or CK but recently tried the Americolor red and black and I am totally an Americolor convert now. The black is BLACK and the red is RED - I mean right away. No gray or pink. I was really surprised.
