I have recieved a request to make a Mickey & Minnie themed cake.
She would like me to use the wilton stand like I did for my son's cake.

Any suggestions on what to do with them?
I will be doing a 6-8-10
Maybe you could do a fbct on one or two. for one I think it would be cute to do all red with white polk a dots like minnie's dress. or you could do a really dark chocolate icing with fondant acents as ears. Also do a fbct of the disney castle? Just a couple of ideas off the top of my head. Hope it helps
You could make the three tiers. Around the base of each one, you could make film strip out of fondant. On some of the squares, you could put little mouse ears or the names of some of their movies. Then I would mold Mickey and Minnie figures out of gum paste. Then you could put them on the top --- maybe a steamboat willie on the largest cake. Just be sure you are getting enough money for it!
thanks for the suggestions!
She has changed her mind and only wants 2 tiers stacked now.
She said she like the idea of using minnies dress as one of the tiers with a white fondant bow ontop. But when I told her that her guests will have red teeth she didn't like that idea very much. LOL
I really like Marci's suggestions, but I don't think I am that skilled. ![]()

I used to work for Disney! I would love to make your idea for myself! I really liked it!
