Next month I will be doing my first wedding cake that I have to assemble on site. (first cake ever to assemble on site) What are some of the things that you take in your "first aid" bag with other than the obvious.. icing??? I'm sure there are things you all take that I wouldn't have thought of. I will be traveling about 45 mins away and don't want to be stuck without something that I might need....

Thanks...

I always make sure I have scissors, paper towels, a ziploc bag with a wash rag, a bottle of water, spatulas, extra tips(which ever ones you used to decorate with), camera, a copy of the order, pic of the cake if I have one, and whatever else that particular cake might require. If you know that they will havesilk flowers that you will have to arrange, make sure you have wire cutters.

Would like to add plastic decorator gloves to the list. Helps to keep things sanitary & avoids possible fingerprints on product. icon_smile.gif
