I need a recipe for WHITE cream cheese frosting and am unable to find white butter anywhere around here. Can I just use the "buttercream" recipe from Wilton (the one that uses crisco and no butter) and just substitute the crisco with cream cheese???
I.E. cream cheese, sugar, milk and salt???
Any help is appreciated!

I just made the recipe that 7yyrt posted the link to and it crusts really well. It turned out pretty white too.

I just made that same icing today too! It turned out pretty close to white....would it help if you made it that way and just added the Wilton icing white to it?
PS - Make sure you crumb coat it and let your cake settle overnight.........I did the quick thing and now I have a middle bulge. icon_smile.gif
