I have a castle cake for tommorrow- was planning on using buttercream but I have a sudden desire to use Fondant. I could use MMF- but I am still trying to get it to the perfect consistency- It always seems a little soft or crackly to me.
So, back to the question- where do I find this stuff???? I've tried Michaels & AC Moore (I'm in Long Island)- and Jo Ann doesn't carry any cake products here (they said their NY stores don't???
)
Help!!!!
I've only been able to find it in cake supply stores - I would suggest you find a cake supply store and call to see if they have it...I also use FondX and Pettinice along with Satin Ice - I like all three.
Good luck.

The Sugar Shope here in Chattanooga carries it. But if you need to Friday I dont know that will help.
Yeppers leepat I feel your pain, even the big cities have problems with products. I looked in over seven stores to find Hershey's Special Dark Cocoa and finally found it in the least expected place and only by calling the Hersheys company to ask them where I could find it.
Fortunately I do have two cake supply stores in the area so I can just pickup Pettinice and Satin Ice .........
Your not kidding. I have never herd of it. I went online & was in Ahhhhhhhhhhh............THeres not one around here ![]()

Well, I'm so happy that I could help you! Yours is closer than mine. I'm an hour ferry ride away or an 1 hour 15 minute drive! Ferry is much preferable though as I don't have to drive in the horrid traffic. Ya'll from WA know what I'm talking about!!!!! ![]()
Have fun in the store and call for outside help if you need found!!!! ![]()
