I will be doing this cat for a birthday cake next Sunday but can't decide to do it with Color Flow or FBCT. I thought color flow because it would look more 3-D, where the FBCT would be flat. Which do you think?

Well I think you could definitely do either. I like FBCT better, so I would probably do that, plus then you could eat it!

You can eat the Color Flow too.

Sorry I didn't mean to imply that you couldn't eat color flow... but most people (except kids probably) wouldnt eat it. The FBCT can be cut with the cake too. I just prefer FBCT over color flow, both would be equally as nice probably. You should do which ever method you prefer.

Merissa makes a good point. A fbct would be easier to cut. The colorflow would crack with the first cut. FBCT is easier to slice. Depends on the look you're going for!

With color flow, I thought you couldn't put it directly on the BC or it would breakdown. You have to put something between it and the cake, right? That makes my vote FBCT. That, and I tried it for the first time the other day and it was really easier to me. And the cake cut easier, no having to 'move' anything off the cake first.
Just my whopping two cents! icon_smile.gif
