Quick question: Made a 8" round yellow cake. Decorated it w/buttercream. Stored it in a cake box over night, and when I took it out the next day the top of the cake had cracked - any ideas how and how to avoid next time? THANKS
Most of the time, it is due to not enough support. So when you move it, it cracks=( If that is the case with you, then make sure you use something strong for your board. Foamcore is very strong and sturdy. If you don't think that is the reason, let us know! Jen
Thanks for your replies... however, it was cracked before it was moved and it was level... not sure what happened and it was the first time this has ever happened.
