Has anyone ever made ri tiara's for cupcakes?

No sorry but i did make them out of gumpaste (or fondant with cmc/tylose to make them less breakable).

I haven't, I've just made a RI tiara for a cake but I'm sure it's the same thing, you just have to find something small to wrap your pattern around. And you'd have to scale the pattern itself down to the size.

A tiny tip and a tiny pattern, I would think! Maybe you could wrap it around a round cookie cutter? You'd have to have a lot of them, though, I suppose. Hmmm..... ooh! Little sections of PVC pipe?

I have, I just make a small pattern, and went for it, didn't really have any trouble. I just made sure to make extra.

Kbochick, you are funny. What you Jwrenn and Tellis12 suggested is kind of what I was thinking and that's what I will do. I found a fairly simple pattern and have scaled it down.

Tartacadabra - thanks for your input but you are way ahead of me. I have yet to work with fondant and such.
