No, this isn't for the naughty section! hahaha! I have an order for a beaver cake..the little animal. I was thinking of using the ball pan and making little fondant feet, and a little fondant face and fondant tail...and doing his body with the fur tip. Does anyone else have any ideas? Photos?

You gonna rescue me again, Doug? icon_biggrin.gif

Beavers also have 2 large front teeth.....for chewing down trees to make their dams. That would look great. Their tales are also textured....so if you made the tale to kind of look like leather that would good.

see this coloring page: beaver

sketch:

based on using mini-wonder, reg wonder and ball pans.

upright one would have a least one, if not two, dowels to hold all three parts together (that and lots of BC and carving ledges in lower parts for upper parts to rest on).

flat one, is just an overweight(!) version of all the dog and possum cakes we've seen on CC with one heck of smashed flat tail.

and if you can find it, Chicklets gum would make great teeth! (if not, fondant)

Although the photo isn't that great, I have posted him in my gallery. He turned out very cartoony, which the customer wanted! Thanks for your help all!
