i don't know what i did wrong--well i did forget the water, but after all PS was kneaded it, there were sugar lumps--kinda hard--i can mash them flat but there are so many

Did you sift the powdered sugar?

yes i did, so besides the NO WATER i don't know what happened--but this was the first time i made it this far with MMF--haha

Since you sifted the powdered sugar, did you melt the marshmallows completely?

Well, since you forgot the water I guess we're going to have to say that's the culprit detective.gif. The sugar probably started to clump up since there wasn't enough moisture for it to fully incorporate. Try again, but this time don't forget the water icon_wink.gif
