Have any of you ever made a 3d cake like this one that I found in the gallery?

I pm'd the person who posted it, but they have never made any posts and this is the only cake in the gallery that I can find.
I'd like to make this for a friend who is retireing at the end of the month. (Back in his youth he played college football there and has a 3d razorback helment on his desk)
Ricks Bakery in Fayettville AR makes a razorback cake. Here is the link. But unfortunately I don't have a clue how to make it. I hope someone comes up with an idea!

I have made one of these before I took a round cake and cut it in half and then put the halves together for the body, the legs I just piped with a coupler tip, the head was sculpted and attached to the body. I used Royal icing for the tusks so they would stand out(I make those ahead and let dry. The larger the rounds you use the larger your razorback. Good Luck.
