How they made the flowers on this cake...I am doing a wedding cake for my sisiter. Her colors are white and purple and she is having purple dasies and white roses for flowers. I thought this cake would be perfect, but have no idea how it was done.

I saw Kerry Vincent demonstrate this at the ICES Convention. This is done with a stencil she bought at Hobby Lobby. Roll out paste, press the stencil on it, color with petal dust or color mixed with alchol, remove the stencil, then use an Exacto knife to cut out around flower and add to cake.

Another option might be using a cutter and then separating the petals and adding some accent petals. sugarcraft.com has a variety of daisy/sunflower cutters that would do the trick. This one yields a flower over 3 inches across:

The Daisy Collection cutter set including Gerberas Chrysanthemums and Asters by FMM includes five 12
petal cutters ranging from 1-1/4 to 3-1/2 inch, white plastic
#CUTDAC $8.09

It's a lovely cake. I'd like to see your version--please post photos!
