I've seen so many amazing edible images... are they done with a computer? I did a company logo and have a request for another, but it is pretty complicated, and I don't think I can do it by hand. What equipment do I need to print edibles, and what is the approx. cost? I use an airbrush at work and we print out photos, etc.. on fondant sheets... (using "SWEET ART" program) but I am more curious about transferrable images onto sides of cakes, shapes, chocolate...
have a friend who makes awesome cakes, and did some sort of piping transfer (not gel).... never saw him actually do it, but the results were incredible!
questions questions... answers answers!!! i love this place!

I bought a Canon printer for $130 on ebay and went to these websites to get my other supplies for it. You have to have a certain printer and I was lucky to find one on ebay that worked. This tells you what printer to use for the supplies... it is a limited few for the printers but I love working with mine. If I can find out how to down size my pictures I will upload them here. Here are the links for the edible images.. there are several websites that have these things.

I have the epson c99+. I got it at staples for $79. I also used Kopykake.com to get my supplies. I have been very happy.
