What color or colors do I mix with orange to get the Texas Longhorn Burnt orange? icon_smile.gif

I have had good luck with a combo of Americolor copper, warm brown and orange.

I used brown and orange. I have one photo in my photos and that is how my attempt at burnt orange turned out.

I too used Wilton orange with just a touch of brown.

try adding a touch of red. and if it is too dark, you can always split the colored portion in half, add in some white, and start anew. =) Good luck. I too use Americolor...so it is not hard to find the right combos...BUT if you have terracotta in wiltomn...that is pretty burnt looking in larger amounts.
