So I have a friend what wants me to do a cake for his Wine and Dine type dinner party. He and I both agree the oval pan set is ideal. However, I have no idea how much cake I need with the oval pan for about 50 people... I'd like to give him two options one for a two-tier and the other a three-tier....also where do you find serving size information?
Thanks!

Here for 'party' size servings: http://www.wilton.com/cake/cakeprep/baking/times/party_2inch.cfm

Here for 'wedding' size servings: http://www.wilton.com/cake/cakeprep/baking/times/wedding_2inch.cfm

The difference is party size servings are cut 1.5"x2", and wedding size servings are cut 1"x2".
