Please help with my icing color issue. I'm making a waterslide cake and need to know what colors to use for a pool color. Your input is appreciated. Thanks! thumbs_up.gif

Since water reflects the color of the sky. I would try sky blue. Just a thought.

Have you thought about possibly using piping gel for the water? It has that nice watery effect and absorbs color excellently. And you can flavor it.

I saw a cake recently with blue jello as the water. It was on the front of one of the womans' magazines...June or July issue Woman's Day I think. It was really cute. They had little Teddy Grahams in icing bathing suits as the swimmers/sliders. Good Luck! Don't forget to post the pictures!! icon_lol.gif

I'd use a little bitta green, a little bitta blue. Most outdoor pools kinda have that greenish aquamarine tint to them.
