Will Cake Be Ok!

I just found out today that the cake that I made needs to be for saturday instead of tomorrow, but I have already start decorating it.

I was wondering would the cake be fine as long as it is in the cake box and no air is getting to it.

should be so long as filling doesn't need refrigeration --

in which case -- just stash in the fridge in the closed box if possible (and leave box closed when taken out of fridge to prevent condensation on the cake)
