I was thinking about filling my cake with pudding. It's a chocolate cake. Which is better, Vanilla or Chocolate pudding?

I did something this weekend that was very good. My cake was a marble cake, but I used chocolate pudding (already made and packaged, like the little cups) and added a little bit of the buttercream and a tsp of cocoa powder. It made the pudding a little thicker and tasted a little lighter also. It tasted like a whipped cream. You could do the same with vanilla pudding too. I think either vanilla or chocolate pudding would be good with chocolate cake. It depends how chocolately you want it to be.

I would do chocolate. I love an all chocolate cake, yum!
I usually make chocolate mousse for my chocolate cakes, oh so good.

I use the "twinkie" filling recipe with mini chocolate chips folded in.

I recently was in a hurry and made a filling for my chocolate cake. I used the prepared chocolate frosting in a can and added about 1/4 cup of caramel topping (you know the kind you put on ice cream). It was fantastic and go rave reviews.

I did a german chocolate cake and torted it. Then I put in the german chocolate cake frostening in between each layer. (It's that carmel, coconut, nut frostening) Then sprinkled more nuts on top of the frostening before putting my layers together. It was real moist and gave great flavor too.

I'm a chocolate gal, so I vote for chocolate pudding.

I love raspberry filling in a chocolate cake, or some Nutella!
