Also, there is another thread here that might help you (http://forum.cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=3673053#3673053). Although it's a lot of steps to knead all this color into fondant, it may be helpful to you.
Good Luck,

i don;t know about fondant but with bc i always end up using a bit of burgandy to get it a deeper color. i hope this works

Just copy and paste - copy from inside the parentheses and paste in browser, but I did it for you
odessa can you tell me how I can get to that link? the way you've put it in your reply I cant click onto it.
Sorry
. I'm afraid I'm not very good at getting the links together here so you can just click on them. duh!
. I'd suggest highlighting the link, right-click on it, click on "copy", then highlight in your browser where it should go, right-click there and click on "paste".

p.s. I think if you go into the forums, search for these words: duff, super red, trick. That might help, too.

perhaps if you try the tip someone posted today they got off of Duffs show, start by coloring it yellow, then add orange, then add the red. I always tell me students to use any base color of red they have when coloring buttercream, pink, orange, yellow then add red. I didn;t know Duff did this also, just seemed like a natural thing to do, like starting with chocolate icing to get to black.
Hey, I'll have to try the sweet and duff technique too!! Aobodessa, anytime! It is very, very rare that I can actually find something that I can help with!
