Have you ever made chocolate fondant by kneading in melted chocolate into white fondant? I was thinking of trying to mix in candy melts into the wilton white hoping to make it chocolate ( and taste better!).
Thanks.

Did you use candy melts or a different type of chocolate? Any tips?
Thanks

I'm not a fan of semi-sweet chocolate so I just used regular Toll House Milk Chocolate Chips. I usually melt them in my pampered chef micro-cooker on half power about 1 minute at a time or just over medium-low heat and constantly stiring. I usually just dip my spatula in oil just to give a LITTLE coating for the chocolate chips...not too much though. Pull it from the heat once the chips have almost completely melted and then stir them until they've all melted. Let them cool down a bit so you don't burn yourself and then just knead it into the fondant a little at a time. Works great!! Good luck!! icon_biggrin.gif
